Power outages in several districts of Kyiv

Stabilising power outages are being introduced in a number of districts of the capital on Monday due to equipment damage.

Shutdowns are being applied in four districts of Kyiv. These are Holosiivskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Shevchenkivskyi and Solomyanskyi districts.

The authorities state that the reason for outages is equipment damage, which results in energy facilities being unable to transmit energy to all residents of these districts.

Background: 

Emergency shutdowns took place in part of the Holosiivskyi, Solomyanskyi, and Svyatoshynskyi districts due to the overloading of one of the lines after the attack on the night of 8-9 March.
