Air-raid siren not sounded while explosions rocked Kyiv
Several explosions have been reported in Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, with local authorities reporting an attack on the capital's infrastructure.

Details: Kyiv residents have reported at least four explosions in Ukraine’s capital.
The air-defence system is likely to have been activated.
At the time information about the explosions was shared, an air-raid siren had not been sounded in Kyiv or the oblast. The siren was sounded after the explosions.
Telegram channels dedicated to monitoring Russian attacks on Ukraine reported that Russia might have deployed ballistic missiles to attack Kyiv.
Updated: Kyiv city military administration has stated that a missile attack on the capital is underway, and an infrastructure target was hit.
Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, has said that Russian missiles are targeting Ukraine’s critical infrastructure facilities.
Klitschko said that explosions had occurred in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv, and missile fragments had fallen on non-residential territory in the Holosiivskyi district of the capital. There have been no reports regarding casualties.
Later, Klitschko said that there had been a fire in a non-residential building following the Russian attack on the Holosiivskyi district of the capital.
The Ukrainian Air Force has explained why the air-raid siren was only sounded after the explosions.
