Ukrainian Parliament ratifies agreement allowing to establish Bayraktar production in Ukraine
The Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's Parliament, on Tuesday ratified the agreement between Ukraine and Turkey on cooperation in the field of high technologies, aviation and space industries.
Oleksii Honcharenko, a member of Ukrainian Parliament, has announced this on his Telegram channel, European Pravda wrote.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has explained that this agreement will allow establishing Bayraktar production in Ukraine.
"This will make it possible to build a factory in Ukraine for the production and maintenance of the famous Bayraktar drones," Shmyhal noted.
The agreement was signed by the presidents of the two countries back in February, before the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
According to Oleksii Reznikov, the Minister of Defence of Ukraine, the drones produced at the plant in Ukraine will be equipped with Ukrainian-made engines.
They should also create a training center for the training of Bayraktar management specialists of various categories.
