The prosecutor's office investigates mass plague of birds in Chornobayivka

Prosecutors of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office are investigating a mass plague of birds in the settlement of Chornobayivka as a result of Russian attacks.

Details: According to the investigation, as a result of massive attack by the Russian army in March, one of the largest local poultry farms in the town of Chornobayivka was cut off the grid.

Due to the occupation, the business could not feed the birds and maintain a sanitary environment, which is why the vast majority of chickens died.

Before the start of the full-scale invasion, the company had more than 4 million birds.

During the inspection of the territory of the poultry farm, the burial place of the dead birds was discovered, a pit with a depth of about 3 metres and an area of 1,880 square metres.

Some of the dead chickens were found in poultry houses.

Experts plan to find out how the tragedy affected the environment.
