About ten million Ukrainians are without electricity now – Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reported that approximately 10 million Ukrainians are without electricity at the moment due to Russian attacks.

Source: Zelenskyy in his evening address

Quote from Zelenskyy: "In many cities and regions of our country, there are emergency blackouts again. About ten million Ukrainians are without electricity.

Most of them - as of this moment - in Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, Kyiv and Lviv regions. Lviv and some other cities suspended the supply of heat...

There are problems with communication and Internet connection all over the country. As a result of the strikes, automation disabled several nuclear units at two stations today - these are calculated consequences, and the enemy knew exactly what he was doing."

Why this is important: Ten million people is somewhere between a third and a quarter of Ukraine's current population (accounting for  many people who have fled abroad).
