Quote: "Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said that over the course of the past 24 hours, units of Ukraine’s defence forces have advanced by 7 kilometres and regained control over six villages on the Petropavlivka–Novoraisk axis. This is similar to what happened on the Pervomaiske–Kherson axis, where our troops have also regained control over six villages.
Enemy forces are attempting to maintain control over the temporarily occupied territories; they are focusing their efforts on holding back [Ukraine’s] defence forces on several fronts; and they are reinforcing defence lines on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
At the same time, [Russian forces] are conducting an offensive on the Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka fronts [...]
In order to prevent units of [Ukraine’s] defence forces from advancing, occupation forces are reinforcing their positions on the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia Oblast. They are trying to enlist the help of local residents in order to speed up the pace with which military engineering tasks are being carried out."
