Russians fire almost two dozen rockets on Sumy region, killing one person

The Russians fired 18 rockets on Sumy Oblast over the past 24 hours. A 51-year-old local resident was killed in a rocket attack on the morning of October 7.

Quote: "The Russians fired 84 munitions on our territory, including mines, projectiles and 18 rockets fired from rotorcraft from within the Russian Federation."

Details: Dmytro Zhyvytskyi noted that the hromadas of Khotin, Krasnopillia, Esman, Znob-Novhorodske, Velyka Pysarivka came under Russian fire. Krasnopillia hromada suffered the most in terms of destruction. Residential buildings and railway tracks were damaged.

Background: Earlier, the President’s Office reported that 10 rockets were fired near the settlement of Hrabovske, Sumy Oblast, on October 7.
