Sumy region: Russians fire self-propelled guns on residential area, no casualties reported

The Russians fired on Sumy Oblast nine times over the past 24 hours. Over 150 hits have been documented. No casualties have been reported, but civilian infrastructure has been damaged.

Details: In particular, the Russians fired self-propelled guns at the residential area in the village of Kyianytsia, Yunakivka hromada (Amalgamated Territorial Community - ed.). There were 40 strikes. The attack damaged windows and doors in the residential buildings. A high-rise building and three private households were damaged. Shrapnel pierced through the walls and mowed down ducks in the backyards. Power lines and gas supply pipes were also cut off. Yunakivka hromada came under mortar fire several more times during the day.

Russian self-propelled artillery units fired seven times at Seredyna-Buda hromada.

Nine Russian mines were recorded in Esman hromada.

At first, the Russians shelled Krasnopillia hromada with Grad multiple rocket launchers. There were 40 strikes and, in addition, 15 hits with the mortars. In the evening, five more hits were documented in another location of the hromada.

The Russian troops brought down artillery fire on Myropillia hromada with 19 hits reported. Civilian residential buildings were damaged in the attack.

Ten mortar bursts have been documented in Bilopillia hromada.

In Velyka Pysarivka hromada, Russian troops carried out several mortar attacks at about 20:00 and later fired eight rockets from a rotorcraft.
