16 people die from Russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia on 9-10 October

16 people died and almost a hundred were injured as a result of Russian strikes on residential areas of Zaporizhzhia on 9 and 10 October.

Details: The Secretary of the City Council specified that as of 11:00, 14 people were killed and 74 injured from a night attack by Russians on a high-rise building and a private sector in one of the city's districts on 9 October.

It is also known about 2 dead and 23 wounded after the attack on an apartment building in Zaporizhzhia on the night of 9-10 October.

Kurtiev added that search and rescue operations are still ongoing.

The official also announced that the liquidation of the consequences of the night attack on the city continues.

 

Rescue workers, more than 60 volunteers and three units of equipment continue to work in the private sector.

 

The rubble is being dismantled in the damaged high-rise building, where the entrance was destroyed. Almost fifty rescue workers and 13 units of emergency services are working.

 

Residents obtained access to apartments in the high-rise apartment building that had been damaged. They got the opportunity to pick up necessary things.

 

Previously: On the night of 9-10 October, the Russians struck Zaporizhzhia again. It was reported that one person died and five people, including a child, were injured.
