The Security Service of Ukraine has detained an artillery spotter in Mykolaiv Oblast, who admitted that after transmitting information to the Russian military, the city was repeatedly hit with missiles.

Details: He actively "leaked" data through groups in social networks and instant messengers that are administered by the Russian special services.

During the search, communication equipment containing evidence of the detainee’s criminal activities was seized.

Background: On 30 July, the Security Service of Ukraine detained a resident of the city of Mykolaiv, who had been transmitting information on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the Russian special services. They planned to use this data to launch missile strikes on Mykolaiv Oblast.
