Details: The communications staff decided to provide details to show the Ukrainians the kinds of images the Armed Forces of Ukraine will now have access to.
ICEYE satellites conduct surveys using a Synthetic-Aperture Radar (SAR) technology, which allows you to use it at any time of the day and in any weather conditions.
Quote: "SAR systems are able to see due to automatic object recognition using distributed radar images and digital signal processing, through all kinds of obstacles.
That means, in essence, that not just dense cloud cover, but even the walls of buildings are no hindrance to this system."
Background: On 18 August, The Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation announced that, with the 600 million hryvnias raised by Ukrainians, they purchased access to a database of satellite images for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
