Shoigu, hiding behind Donbas, instructed the invaders to increase actions on all fronts

Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu has ordered the invaders to "increase" the army's actions on all fronts of the fight against Ukraine.

Quote: "The head of the Russian defence ministry gave the necessary instructions on further expansion of group actions on all operational fronts".

Details: The invaders cynically hide behind the civilian population, saying that the purpose of increasing the actions of the Russian armed forces is "to spare Kyiv, residents of Donbas and other regions from massive strikes on civilian infrastructure,."

Background:

• On 24 February, after 8 years of hybrid war in Donbas, Russia attacked Ukraine.
• In response, many countries introduced large-scale sanctions against Russia.
• On 3 July, the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation announced that it had captured Luhansk Oblast.
• Most of the Donetsk and Kherson oblasts and part of the Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia oblasts are also occupied by the Russians.
• However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have succeeded in expelling the occupiers from the Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
