Mykolaiv rocket attack: 12 civilian casualties

Russian forces attacked Mykolaiv again on the morning of 12 July, hitting two medical facilities and several residential buildings. At least 12 people have been injured.

Details: At 04:15, Mayor Sienkevych reported that powerful explosions were being heard in Mykolaiv.

Later on, local media outlet NikVesti reported that at around 04:00 Russian forces shelled Mykolaiv once more.

Residential buildings were subjected to destruction again. Several fires occurred at the site of the strikes.

Journalist Sarah Rainsford reported that there had been at least seven explosions in Mykolaiv on the morning of 12 July.

Quote by Kim: "On the morning of 12 July, Mykolaiv was subjected to a massive rocket attack. Preliminary reports indicate that two medical facilities and residential buildings have been hit."

Update: As of 09:49, 12 people have been reported injured as a result of the shelling. Earlier, Kim said that four civilians had been injured.

Earlier: Russian forces fired six missiles at Mykolaiv on Saturday, 9 July and six on Monday, 11 July, both times the attacks took place in the morning. The attacks on Saturday caused destruction, and one person was injured on Monday. On Tuesday, 5 July Russian rockets damaged seven multistorey buildings in Mykolaiv.
