Russian invaders postpone launch of railway service from Crimea to Kherson and Melitopol

The Russians have postponed the launch of a railway connection between Crimea, Kherson and Melitopol, which are all currently occupied by Russian forces.

Details: Aksyonov explained that the launch of the railway connecting Crimea to Kherson and Melitopol had been postponed to a later date, allegedly due to unfinished security works.

Background: On 15 June, Aksyonov announced that a passenger train would start running between Crimea and the occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts starting from 1 July.
