Background:

  • On 27 June, the Russians launched a missile strike on the Amstor shopping centre in Kremenchuk.  The second rocket damaged the building of JSC Kredmash, which produced spare parts for civilian vehicles.
  • Yurii Ihnat, the spokesman of the Ukrainian Air Force Command, said that the attack on Kremenchuk was carried out by an Kh-22 missile fired from a Tu-22M3 bomber from Kursk.
  • In Russia, it was initially reported that they struck "hangars with weapons and ammunition received from the United States and European countries." Then the Russian Federation called the shopping centre "disused", "staging", and the video of the first minutes after the shelling and the screams of bloodied civilians - "fake".
  • The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has already obtained the names of the Russian pilots who launched missiles at the shopping centre in Kremenchuk.
  • Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova is convinced that the missile strike on the Amstor shopping centre can be considered a crime against humanity by the UN International Criminal Court.
