Quote: "In 100 days of war, 24,000 km of roads and 300 bridges have been destroyed.

The enemy is not letting up in its destruction of our infrastructure, but the country lives on and is rebuilding under wartime conditions."

Details: The agency added that they are currently pausing all large-scale projects, but are working instead on critical routes and essential road infrastructure.

In particular, 39 temporary river crossings have already been provided on roads to Kyiv, Irpin, Bucha, Gostomel, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Sumy and Mykolayiv.

Also the ‘Warsaw highway’ has been open for traffic from Kyiv to the western Ukrainian city of Kovel and the M-06 highway between Kyiv and Chop has been opened to heavy vehicles.

In addition, on 2 June, a completed section of the H-31 highway was opened in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast (which makes up almost 30 km of the Poltava-Kyiv route).

It is reported that agency staff continue to clear roads of military and civilian equipment, debris and dirt. As of 3 June, 930 km of state roads and communal streets in the Kyiv suburbs have been cleared.
