Morning strike on Sloviansk: there are fatalities and casualties – head of the city Civil and Military Administration

Russian invaders hit the residential areas of Sloviansk this morning; there are fatalities and casualties.

Quote from Liakh: "Unfortunately, today's events in Sloviansk were not limited to a nighttime "arrival" in the multi-storey sector of Novyi Pobut Street."

Details: According to the mayor, the Russians fired on the city centre, where there are no military facilities. The missile hit and damaged a house on Torska Street and the nearby private sector.

Liakh noted that there were fatalities and wounded, but did not specify their number. He urged residents to leave the city.

The head of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, Pavel Kirilenko, specified that one person was killed as a result of the shelling, and another civilian was injured. 

Quote from Kirilenko: "According to preliminary information, the Russians used cluster munitions. At least 4 residential buildings and 1 infrastructure facility were damaged."

Previously: In the morning report, the General Staff of the Defence Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russian forces had concentrated their efforts in the area of the settlement of Dolyna on the Sloviansk front. Shelling by tube and rocket artillery was recorded in the areas of the settlements of Bohorodychne, Adamivka, Khrestyshche, Hrushuvakha, Svitlychne and Kurulka. The occupiers also launched an airstrike near Dovhenke. In order to improve the tactical situation, the Russian army is advancing in the area of the village of Mazanivka: the fighting continues.
