Background: An air raid siren sounded in almost all regions of Ukraine during a visit to Kyiv by the leaders of France, Germany, Italy and Romania on Thursday morning [16 June - ed.].

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy later said that "Russia has created a background for everyone to hear these sirens to create a tense atmosphere, but no-one was frightened."
