Mayor reveals after-effects of attack on Mykolaiv

An attack on Mykolaiv by the Russian occupiers has left two people dead and another two injured.

Direct quote: "The Russian occupiers have once again fired on residential neighbourhoods in two areas of the city. Two high-rise buildings, four private houses and some commercial premises have been damaged.

One person died at the scene; another was taken to hospital but doctors were unable to save him. It is also known that two more people have been wounded." 

Details: The mayor said that the gas pipeline at one of the addresses has been damaged, leaving 80 subscribers without gas. At another address the water pipe has burst: "Repair crews will fix everything in the next few days."

City officials handed out cling film to people so that they could seal up their damaged windows.

They will also help to remove bulky debris and tidy up around the houses.
