Collaborator boasts that there will be Russian passports and Russian networks in Melitopol

Volodymyr Rohov, a Russian collaborator and traitor to Ukraine, said that in the occupied city of Melitopol, people have begun receiving documents for Russian citizenship. They receive 10,000 rubles each [approximately $130] and can also use Russian phone and internet networks.

Details: Rohov said that the first branch of the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation had been opened in Melitopol, and that  "the reception of documents for obtaining Russian citizenship" would begin on 31 May.

The collaborator also stated that more than 7,000 pensioners, public sector workers and socially vulnerable citizens in Melitopol have received a one-time payment of 10,000 rubles from Russia.

Rohov noted that on 30 May, after an explosion near the occupation headquarters, there was no functioning phone network in Melitopol, and there were complaints about networks in the occupied cities of Berdiansk and Enerhodar.

According to him, "the Russian internet is working, which has been confirmed, and now the mobile internet is being provided."

Rohov said that numbers with the code +7990 are working, but it is not yet possible to top up the balance of SIM cards of Russian mobile operators in the region.

The occupiers claim that Ukraine allegedly disconnected Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts from mobile networks and the internet; both the Ukrainian authorities and Kyivstar [cell phone operator] have denied this.
