Belarus bought Iskander mobile short-range ballistic missile systems from Russia; Lukashenko wants to produce missiles for them

The self-proclaimed President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, wants to produce the Iskander missile by the end of the year, Belarus has already bought the necessary number of these missile systems from Russia.

Quote from Lukashenko: "We discussed the problem of missilery with Putin. The Russians will help us put in order the new missiles that we are producing.

We have made significant progress, but with the Russians, we will quickly create a normal missile – they have greater skill. We would do it ourselves, but it would take more than a year.

And if a smart person comes and tells us what we are doing wrong, we will produce an Iskander missile by the end of this year. Very good weapon".

Details: At a meeting with the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast of the Russian Federation, Gleb Nikitin, Lukashenko also said that Belarus bought Iskander mobile short-range ballistic missile systems and S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems from Russia.

Quote: "We agreed with Putin. We bought the necessary number of these Iskander missile systems and S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems from Russia and equipped our army. With such weapons, it is now a completely different army. At the very least, these weapons can cause enormous damage."

Reminder: Russian Iskander missiles have been launched from the territory of Belarus to Ukraine since the beginning of the war.

For example, on the third day of the invasion from Belarus, a rocket was launched which hit the Zhytomyr airport.
