Mayor: Over half the residents of occupied Melitopol have already left

Over the past two months, 45-50 per cent of the residents of Melitopol in Zaporizhzhia Oblast (Region) have left the city, said the Mayor’s office.

Quote from Fedorov: "According to our data, over the past two months 45-50 per cent of Melitopol’s residents have left. That’s nearly 60,000-65,000 residents.
"Around 70,000 residents have remained in Melitopol.
"Only the elderly or people with elderly relatives, or those who don’t have opportunities or relatives within territory controlled by the government of Ukraine, have not left the city."
Details: Fedorov noted that more people have remained in the nearby villages, but the aggressor has not reached the villages around the city.
