Zelenskyy: Only Putin can stop the war, so negotiations are needed

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that Ukraine has no choice but to sit down at the negotiating table with Vladimir Putin, because only he can stop the war.

Details: At the same time, Zelenskyy admitted that after the atrocities committed by the Russian military in Ukrainian cities and villages, he "feels hatred for Russia, for Russian soldiers". "When I see these pictures in front of my eyes, dead children without legs, without arms, it's horrible," the President said.

He noted that he could not even cry anymore, although it was impossible to get used to seeing the victims.

When asked by a journalist to comment on two of his portraits, one taken before the war and the other during a trip to Bucha, Zelenskyy said: "These are two different people." In his opinion, such a change is to the benefit of the country. He also doubted that he would ever be who he used to be.

According to the President, he does not know whether the Russians had kill lists before committing the war crimes in Bucha, according to eyewitnesses, but he heard that there are such lists in large cities such as Kherson.

When asked what the worst thing was that he had heard in recent days, the President said that it was a statement by a leading EU politician who wanted to see proof that the war crimes in Bucha had not been staged. Zelenskyy has not given the name of this politician. According to "Ukrainska Pravda" and "Evropeyska Pravda" sources, this is the President of Hungary, Viktor Orbán.
