According to Haidai: "We are observing the constant arrival of new [Russian] forces, both equipment and personnel. I think, in 3-4 days, once they complete the relocation of all reserves, they will try to conduct an offensive."
Details: At the same time, he added that Ukrainian defenders are ready to meet and "welcome" the uninvited visitors to the Luhansk region.
Haidai also added that on 6 April Russian troops continued to fire on Popasna from Grad rocket launchers and aircraft, and the evacuation of civilians was accompanied by the roar of Russian shelling.
He said that about 30,000 civilians remain in Lysychansk, fewer in Sievierodonetsk.
Approximately 30,000 people have officially been evacuated in over 40 days of the war in the Luhansk region, and it is still impossible to count the number of people leaving in their own vehicles.
Haidai also stated that 60% of Rubizhne is controlled by Russian forces. The former Mayor, who turned out to be a traitor, helped Russian troops to take the city, relaying all the available information to them. But the Russian soldiers have been unable to get into the centre of the city and their daily attacks remain unsuccessful. Russian troops are also suffering significant losses.
