According to Haidai: "Volunteers were distributing humanitarian aid to the local residents. Every day, despite enemy fire, they came to the gathering place and provided people with food and necessities. Yesterday was no different, until a mine landed.
One of the victims saved the life of a colleague by protecting her [the colleague] with her own body when the Russian shelling of the city began. Eternal memory."
Details: On 3 April, Russian military actions in the Luhansk region caused fires in 2 high-rise apartment buildings in Sievierodonetsk; several private houses in Novodruzhesk also caught fire.
At the same time, 7 attacks by Russian troops were repulsed in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions on the same day; 2 units of Russian military equipment, 43 combat vehicles, and a Russian mortar were destroyed.
Air defence units shot down 2 Russian planes and 1 unmanned aerial vehicle; another Russian plane was damaged, Haidai added.
