Zelenskyy: Russia’s new battalion tactical groups and “mobilisation” campaigns will only delay Russia’s defeat

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia’s amassing of troops in Donbas and attempts to conduct "mobilisation" in the occupied territories of Ukraine will not help Russia, but will only delay its defeat.

According to Zelenskyy: "The occupiers continue to do everything they can to make sure there are at least some grounds for talking about some sort of victory in the south and east of our country.

They are gathering forces, amassing more and more battalion tactical groups on our land, and even trying to conduct a so-called ‘mobilisation’ in the occupied territories of Ukraine.

None of these measures will help Russia in the war against our country. They can only delay the inevitable – the time when the invaders will have to leave our land, including Mariupol, the city which continues to resist Russian aggression despite everything that the occupiers are saying."
