According to Peskov: "What has happened is certainly not something that can be perceived as creating conditions that are conducive to the continuation of negotiations."

Details: According to Peskov, Russian President Vladimir Putin was informed about the fire at an oil depot in Belgorod, and measures are being taken to ensure an uninterrupted supply of fuel to the region.

Peskov did not assess the reasons for the alleged Ukrainian airstrike on the oil depot near Belgorod, saying that this should be handled by security agencies, not the presidential administration.

He added that Russia's "air superiority during the 'operation' is an absolute fact, it is indeed the truth".
