Source: President Zelenskyy's video message

Verbatim: "The war needs to be ended. We need to sit at the negotiating table for honest and substantive negotiations.

"In the interests of people, not outdated, murderous ambitions".

Details: In addition, the president thanked Russian citizens who are supporting Ukrainians, going out into the streets and protesting.

Previously: President Zelenskyy has regularly called on the occupying country's president, Vladimir Putin, to hold direct talks. However, Putin has shunned them in every way.

Zelenskyy also stated that Vladimir Putin is mistaken if he thinks that Ukrainians can be broken or made to surrender. The Ukrainian president compared Putin's desire to destroy Ukraine with a disease.
