Ukraine will appeal to the peoples of the world for support if world leaders do not help to "close the sky", stated President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Quote: "I will appeal directly to the peoples of the world if the leaders of the world do not make every effort to stop this war. This is genocide.

"Of course we continue to talk to our partners– with leaders and parliamentarians of all countries who know how to help Ukraine…

"But there are some things which are not decided in negotiations. Which do not depend directly on us. But that depend on humanity, which must win in the leading capitals. Fear must be overcome. [Monetary considerations must be of lesser priority than saving lives].

"And then we shall see that the Ukrainian sky is safe.

"And if the world sets us aside, it will lose itself. Forever. Because there are unconditional values, and these are the same for everyone. First of all, there is life.

"This [life] is exactly what we are fighting for in Ukraine with our military. This is exactly what these weak occupiers want to deprive us of. And it is this that the world must protect."
