Details: Monastyrskyy noted that the Ukrainian military is detaining "a lot" of prisoners.

A lot of prisoners are captured because they are leaving the equipment. They surrender to our territorial defence forces, our Armed Forces, just people in the village who tell us that Russian equipment operators are leaving it saying they want to run away. Many prisoners are being captured by the National Guard, National Police," the minister said.

According to him, on Sunday, a soldier of the National Guard shot down a SU fighter aircraft, and KORD specialists destroyed two tanks with grenade launchers.

"We see despair in the eyes of the enemy, the desire to abandon their equipment and run away," - said Monastyrskyy, while noting that underestimating the Russian occupying forces would be a mistake.
