Shmygal: Ministry of Finance has held first auction of military bonds – second auction expected soon

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal has stated that the second auction of military bonds is "on the way".

"Anyone who is ready to give to Ukraine, our military, our doctors, our critical infrastructure workers, can do so by purchasing military bonds," he added.

Background:

The Ministry of Finance offers Ukrainians, businesses, and foreign investors the chance to support Ukraine's budget by investing in military government bonds.

The National Bank of Ukraine will buy military bonds of domestic government loans, which are planned to be issued in the amount of up to UAH 400 billion.

During the military bond auction on 1 March, Ukraine received UAH 8 billion for a year.
