Russian shell destroys gas pipeline in Kharkiv, repairs not yet possible

An underground medium-pressure gas pipeline in Kharkiv has been destroyed by Russian shelling, with about 34,000 consumers left without gas.

Quote: "Another direct hit by a shell in one of Kharkiv's districts has destroyed a 720 mm-diameter underground medium-pressure gas pipeline.
Due to active actions by the aggressor, about 34,000 consumers have been left with no gas supply".
Details: It is noted that active hostilities, constant shelling and unpredictable bombardment make it impossible to carry out repair work on this section of the gas pipeline.
Background: Russian occupiers shelled Kharkiv indiscriminately on Wednesday evening with various types of weapons in an attempt to destabilise the situation in the city.
As a result of the shelling, Kharkiv's gas pipeline was damaged and a fire broke out.
