Russians shell Donetsk region with phosphorus shells, leaving casualties

The Russian military has continued shelling the central part of the Donetsk region overnight, with phosphorus shells being used in Marinka, Krasnohorivka and Novomykhailivka, leaving a number of wounded.

According to Kirilenko: "In Marinka, Krasnohorivka and Novomykhailivka, the enemy has once more used phosphorus shells. Eleven wounded civilians from the Marinka community were taken to Kurakhivska city hospital, including four children."

Details: Russian forces shelled the Ocheretynska municipality on the morning of 31 March, injuring two people.

Kirilenko added that drinking water and food continue to be delivered to frontline communities. The evacuation of people is also ongoing.

The head of the Regional Military Administration has urged all those who find themselves on the front line and who are dependent on specific medicines and medical care to take advantage of this opportunity to leave the region.
