ROMAN PETRENKO - TUESDAY, 29 MARCH 2022, 11:50

The leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, opposed the holding of peace talks between Ukraine and Russia, saying that first " Banderites and Satan" should be destroyed, and then think about what to do.

Source: Kadyrov in his Telegram

Quote: "I am convinced that these talks will be of no use. I think we need to finish what we started: to destroy the Banderites*, the Nazis and the devils. Only then should we decide what to do next. "

(ed. Banderites were the followers of the second world war Ukrainian nationalist leader Stepan Bandera, who Russia claims to be targeting in Ukraine.)

We will remind that on the morning of 29 March, the negotiating teams of Ukraine and Russia met in Istanbul. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed the delegations  and called for  truce.

Russian media report that Kadyrov is in Mariupol.
