The Armed Forces of Ukraine are controlling the Kyiv region and working on making it impossible for the Russian forces to carry out artillery shelling.

According to Hruzevych: "The situation in Kyiv and around Kyiv is stable, fully controlled by our Armed Forces. There is some tension near Irpin: though the situation is tense, we are fully in control.

So far, the enemy has foregone their intentions to advance on the Brovary and Boryspil fronts, and is not prepared for active action. This is evidenced by both intercepted radio communications and our intelligence data. On the Irpin front, the enemy is trying to resume their offensive and capture Irpin. These attempts have failed."

Details: Hruzevych said that the Armed Forces control a large part of the Kyiv region, but Makariv is still in the grey zone.

According to Hruzevych: "Measures are being taken to prevent artillery fire in and around the city. Today the task is almost complete, except in Irpin and Lutizh, where the enemy continues to inflict fire damage. Makariv is currently in the grey zone. Not controlled by anyone. The enemy lacks supplies, their attacks are disjointed raids."
