Russian attack on TV tower kills 9, leaves 9 wounded

9 were killed and another 9 wounded as a result of a missle strike by the Russian armed forces on the TV tower in the village of Antopil, near the city of Rivne on Monday morning.

Direct Quote: "Today morning in the Rivne area two missiles hit the TV tower as well as the administration building next to it. As of 18:00 we can declare that there has been nine casualties and nine wounded. Rescue work is currently ongoing"

Details: According to Koval, transmissions in the northern parts of the region were renewed using the cable network, local radio stations have also returned to air. 

Previously: Around 5:20 in the morning near Rivne as a result of an airstrike a TV tower was hit.

The head of Rivne's regional administration Vitaly Koval informed that due to the inflicted damage in the area of Rivne television and radio transmissions are currently disrupted.
