Russia reports that rockets strikes near Lviv have killed 180 foreign citizens alleged to be "mercenaries"

Russian troops claim that the rocket strike on the village of Starychi in the Lviv region killed 180 foreign residents, whom the Russian propaganda is calling "foreign mercenaries."

Details: The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, through propaganda media, has published a report that on 13 March, "high-precision long-range weapons struck Ukraine’s training centres in the village of Starychi and at the Yavorivsky military base."

Russia added that they plan to continue killing foreign nationals in Ukraine, whom they consider mercenaries.

Background: The Russian forces fired missiles at the International Peacekeeping and Security Centre in the village of Starychi, Yavoriv district, in the Lviv region.

So far, it is known that 35 people died as a result of the missile strike by the Russian Federation on the Yavoriv military base; 134 more have been hospitalised.

On 13 March, Russian militants also killed American journalist Brent Renaud in Irpin.
