President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a law relating to the compulsory seizure in Ukraine of the property of the Russian Federation and its residents.

Parliamentary website: "President Zelenskyy has signed the law 'On the basic principles of the compulsory seizure of the property of the Russian Federation and its residents in Ukraine', adopted by the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament), with the Committee for Economic Development being the main body in charge of processing it."
Details: According to the document, the confiscation of property of the Russian Federation and its residents shall be carried out without any compensation for its value. This is because Russia has attacked Ukraine and is waging a full-scale war of aggression against our country and the Ukrainian people.
