Wreckage has been reported to have fallen in two areas of Kyiv, with preliminary reports of a fire in a residential apartment building in Kyiv, as well as injured civilians.

Details: Preliminary information from Kyiv City Military Administration indicates that wreckage has fallen in the Sviatoshynskyi and Podolsky districts. Information on possible damage is being investigated.. Preliminary reports indicate that a residential apartment building is on fire.

Klitschko added that a warehouse is burning in Podilskyi District. All emergency services are gathered at the scene. 

Updated: Kyiv City Military Administration has confirmed a fire in warehouses in Podilskyi District. There are reports of wounded civilians. The information is being confirmed. Emergency services are proceeding to the scene.

Klitschko reported at 08:33 that there were five injured people in the capital. Two men were treated on the spot by medics in Podilskyi District. One person was taken to hospital in Sviatoshynskyi District and two more in Shevchenkivskyi District.

The explosion also damaged the Lukianivska metro station building. The station is working as a shelter. Trains are passing through it without stopping.

Kyiv City Military Administration reported that a residential building had been damaged in Darnytskyi District. There were no casualties or fire. In Podilskyi District, there is damage to a non-residential building. Information about casualties is being confirmed.

At 08:46, Klitschko reported that seven people had been taken to hospital in Kyiv, five of them in Shevchenkivskyi District. 

The Kyiv Mayor said that approximately three people remain under the rubble of a warehouse damaged by missile wreckage in Shevchenkivskyi District. Three people have been rescued. The search and rescue operation is ongoing.

At 09:03, Kyiv City Military Administration reported that a warehouse in Podilskyi District  was on fire over an area of approximately 3,000 m2. There are many injured people, the number is being determined. The search for casualties is underway.

A fire occurred in a residential, uninhabited multi-story building in Sviatoshynskyi District. At another location, three parked cars caught fire. Both fires have been extinguished. One casualty has been identified.

There is damage to a residential building in Shevchenkivskyi District. Fires in garages have been extinguished. A fire was also observed at warehouse premises and non-residential buildings. Preliminary reports indicate that six people have been injured.

There is damage to a residential building in Darnytskyi District. Early reports indicate there were no casualties and no fire. In addition, damage to a house was observed in this area within a residential area. There was no fire. Information about casualties is being established.

Update: At 09:52, Klitschko reported that the body had been recovered from under the rubble in Shevchenkivskyi district. Kyiv City Military Administration said that the total number of injured has increased to 17 people.
