President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called Russia’s large-scale missile attack of 15 November a "cynical slap in the face of G20".

Quote from Zelenskyy: "During a conversation with Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson of Sweden, we discussed the new wave of Russian missile terror.

This act of genocide of Ukrainians in response to my peace plan is a cynical slap in the face of the Group of 19 G20 [sic] and the whole world."

[Zelenskyy has recently made several references to G19 instead of G20, highlighting his belief that Russia ought to be excluded from the group – ed.]

Details: Zelenskyy thanked Sweden for the new package of defence aid to Ukraine.

Updated: Zelenskyy later mentioned the missile attack in his nightly video address.

Quote: "Russia is told about peace, but it fires missiles in response. It is told about the global crises that Russia itself caused, and it launches Iranian-made drones in response.

It [Russia] is offered a 10-point [peace plan] to end the war, and it fires 10 missiles per each point about peace."

Previously: Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that he was awaiting the G20’s response to Russia’s large-scale attack on Ukraine on 15 November.
