Details: Aksyonov has written that Stremousov "maintained a faithful and firm position" in difficult times, so he became a Russian citizen.

Background

  • Russian-appointed puppet governors in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts have announced the results of sham referendums held in those territories.
  • Back in June, collaborator Kirill Stremousov said that he hoped Ukraine’s Kherson Oblast would be illegally annexed by the Russian Federation by the end of the year.
