"Hunger riot" takes place in Mariupol due to lack of humanitarian aid – adviser to the mayor

Residents of Russian-occupied Mariupol staged a "hunger riot" when the International Committee of the Red Cross tried to cancel the distribution of humanitarian aid due to the large number of people.

Details: According to Andriushenko, at the [distribution] point in the Meadow Park named in honour of Hurov, it was announced that humanitarian aid would be suspended, after which a "hunger riot" began.
Quote: "The first real hunger riot. Due to the fact that there is no humanitarian aid from the invaders, the only source of food for many is humanitarian aid from the Red Cross. But because there were too many people, the Red Cross tried to cancel its distribution. There was a real riot."
