General Staff reported:  "Ukrainian Armed Forces maintain defined borders in the Volyn direction. 38th separate airborne assault brigade of Belarusian Armed Forces is stationed in forested areas at Ukrainian-Belarusian border, on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.

The command of the military unit received an order to cross the border with Ukraine, according to available information. Proof of the military order will be published after the border crossing.

The moral and psychological condition of the assault brigades is extremely low. Officers and soldiers do not want to play the role of Russian mercenaries. A significant number have called for the termination of contracts, most of which expire in May."

Details: Ukrainian mechanised and tank units are stably defending the frontiers around Chernihiv in the Sivers'kyi region.

Mechanised units of Ukrainian Armed Forces are effectively engaged in defensive battles with the overwhelming forces of the enemy in Slobozhanshchyna, and are successful in some areas. The enemy suffers heavy losses.

The joint Armed Forces thwarted the plans of Russian Federation forces and prevented their entry into the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts in heavy defensive battles. The Ukrainian city of Mariupol is heroically resisting the Russian invasion.

Reserve units have been formed in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. They are composed of reservists called up in January-February 2022.  The marching columns will be urgently transferred to Kharkiv at the initiative of Russian command. Mobilised men express acute dissatisfaction.

Ukrainian forces are conducting a defensive operation and covering parts of the sea coast in the Primorsky direction. A portion of the forces has not allowed the enemy to break through from Kherson and Mykolayiv.

Defenders of Kyiv continue to repel the attacks of Russian forces, blazing them away and maintaining defensive lines around the city and major airfields.

The failing enemy has attacked civilian buildings from the southwestern outskirts of the Ukrainian capital.

The invaders also continue to distribute fakes and misinformation.

The General Staff of Ukrainian Armed Forces urges Ukrainians to trust only verified information resources.
