Government representatives have invited student protesters to a private meeting

Several organizers of the student pro-European strike received a phone call inviting them to a private meeting, according to Natalia Sokolenko, a civil activist.
The students declined the offer, responding that they were ready to negotiate with the government in public and in the presence of the press.
Later, a man who introduced himself as an advisor to Serhii Arbuzov, the First Vice Prime Minister, called the student organizers again. He heard their demands and promised to call again on Tuesday evening, informs Ms. Sokolenko.
As reported earlier on Tuesday, the students of Kyiv’s Universities announced a general student strike and joined Euromaidan.
