During the 24 hours of March 5, the areas that witnessed the most extensive damage to the civilian infrastructure caused by warfare are the city of Chernihiv in the north of Ukraine, the city of Kharkiv in the north-east, the Bucha district of the Kyiv region and the Korosten district of the Zhytomyr region.
Last night Russian troops carried out several missile strikes on residential buildings in the towns of Korosten and Ovruch in the Zhytomyr region (to the northwest of Kyiv). As a result, several dozen private houses have been destroyed. There are casualties among the civilian population.
On March 1 and 2, the Russian occupying forces fired on surgical and sanitary departments of the Vasilevsky Multidisciplinary Intensive Care Hospital, killing three people.
