The Russian military have seized a pre-trial detention centre in temporarily occupied Kherson and plan to establish a Putin police regime in occupied territories.
The Russian occupying forces have blocked the operation of the Chornobayi poultry farm, which holds 3 million chickens. On 6 March, the Russian forces fired at staff who were transporting feed for the farm. On Monday-Tuesday, the chickens will start dying of hunger.
In Kherson, while a convoy of Russian military equipment was moving, one of the participants of the "Kherson is Ukraine" protest rally got on a battle armoured personnel carrier with the Ukrainian flag.
The mayor of Kherson, Igor Kolykhayev, who had previously negotiated with the Russian invading forces about further rules governing life in the city, has announced that there is a growing threat of looting.
Russian troops have blockaded Kherson in southern Ukraine, creating a humanitarian crisis in the city. Local authorities are asking for a ‘green corridor’ to be designated in order to deliver supplies of medicine and food.
According to Kherson Mayor Igor Kolykhayev, during a visit from “armed visitors” to the city administration, an agreement was reached on how the city would function in the event of an occupation. However, the mayor denies that his counterpart in these talks were the Russian invaders.

Civilian journalist Dilerbek Shakirov was shot dead with an automatic weapon by Russian invaders in the village of Zelenivka, which is part of the city of Kherson; in Kharkiv, a high-rise building was struck.

Ukrainian airpower struck a powerful bombardment attack on a cluster of Russian armored vehicles in Kherson on Friday evening. The enemy retreated and the city returned under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
