The body of the 61-year-old top-level manager of Gazprom, Alexander Tyulyakov, was found on the morning of February 25, 2022 in the Leningrad region, but the local police were ousted from the scene by workers of the Gazprom security service.
Russian Gazprom said it had supplied 1.2 billion cubic meters of gas to Ukraine over January-June 2016, while according to Naftogaz, Ukraine did not import Russian gas in 2016 at all.
Repair works on the Nord Stream gas pipeline planned for August 9 to August 17 will lead to an increase of transit of Russian gas through the Ukrainian gas transportation system on the way to Europe by 20%.
During a hearing at the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, Naftogaz filed claims totaling $26.6 billion against Gazprom, the statement of Naftogaz says.
Naftogaz blames Gazprom for breaching its responsibilities under the gas transit contract as it allegedly reduced the gas feed pressure at the entry to gas transport system of Ukraine.
The claims of Gazprom about the debt of Naftogaz for gas that was allegedly supplied by the Russian company to the non-government-controlled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts are erroneous.
