Russian troops fired a missile at a multi-storey residential area in central Chernihiv.

A Russian missile has hit an oil refinery in Chernihiv, setting 5,000 cubic metres of diesel fuel on fire.

Russian troops have shelled the Masany district and Myr Avenue on the outskirts of Chernihiv.

The mayor of Chernihiv Vladislav Atroshchenko announced an award for the destruction of enemy equipment and the neutralisation of the occupiers in the city.

On 28 February, around 2 am, the Russian invaders started shelling the city of Chernihiv. They hit a residential building, a childcare facility, and a store.

According to the media, the enemy is deploying “Grad” rocket launchers in Chernihiv; windows shatter in the regional hospital. Meanwhile, in the Chernihiv region, Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a major column of the enemy’s forces.
