Russian aggressors say they are ready to open humanitarian corridors to evacuate the population of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mariupol, Sumy and Chernihiv at 10:00 a.m. on March 8.

Details : Journalist sources claim that at least 42 Russian National Guard soldiers together with the commander of the Kemerovo Oblast SOBR (Rapid Intervention Unit – ed.), Colonel Konstantin Ogiy, were killed in an attempt to seize the airfield in Hostomel near Kyiv. He had experience of fighting in Chechnya and Afghanistan.
In addition, Russian media sources suggest that the losses may be higher, as the exact number of dead and captured riot police members is unknown.
OMON (riot police – ed.) and SOBR (Rapid Intervention Unit – ed.) are designed to protect public order in cities and pursue criminals. However, according to the sources, they were used to try to capture the military airfield in the battle with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
A plane with the bodies of those killed on 28 February is expected in the Kemerovo region.

On August 21, illegal military formations from the non-government controlled areas of Donetsk oblast shelled Solodke village of Marinka district of Donetsk oblast for 15 minutes from 122mm artillery.
On Sunday Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian forces in Donbas for 58 times. In Mariupol direction 35 artillery attacks occurred. In Novohryhorivka the enemy attacked with 122-mm self-propelled guns, in Talakivka, Vodyane and Starohnativka the enemy attacked with 120 and 82-mm mortars. In Avdiivka Ukrainian fighters engaged enemy saboteur group, the enemy retreated.
Militants’ checkpoints in the non-government controlled parts of Donbas are only 30–40% manned, the Head of Donetsk Oblast Civil–Military Administration Pavlo Zhebrivskyi said.
According to the Russian president, in order to achieve an effective ceasefire in Donbas, Ukraine needs to decentralize its regions and pass the Law on the Special Status of Donbas, as well as grant amnesty to militants.
The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov said that militants in Donbas intensified their shelling of Ukrainian positions as prohibited by the Minsk Agreements.
