Russian Tu-95 strategic bomber crashes in Amur Oblast – videos
A Russian warplane has crashed in Amur Oblast, and the Russian Ministry of Defence says it was a Tu-95 strategic bomber.

Details: The Russian Defence Ministry claimed that the aircraft crashed during a training flight. It said the aircraft was not carrying any ammunition and that six of the seven crew members were killed.
OSINT communities also reported that a Russian aircraft has crashed. According to Exilenova+, the warplane belonged to the Russian Ministry of Defence.
Exilenova+ said the aircraft was indeed a Tu-95. Initial reports had identified it as a Russian Tu-154.

Unconfirmed reports say that between three and seven crew members may have been killed.
Background: On 17 July, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that a Tu-95 had been destroyed at the Engels military airfield in Russia. Satellite imagery of the airbase later confirmed the destruction of the Russian strategic bomber following a strike by the Security Service of Ukraine.
